About Gonter

CÈ Inspiration

This handbag embodies the designer’s most cherished and meaningful elements of her surroundings and personal universe.

Born in a town near the Alicante coast, she feels a deep connection with the Mediterranean.

This unique and distinctive essence is reflected in the color choices and, of course, in some of the handles—featuring a minimalist and elegant structure with a wavy silhouette that evokes the beauty and calm of the sea.

Spanish culture and tradition are unmistakably recognizable around the world—flamenco, dresses, fans, etc.—and stir a deep emotion within her. What better way to express this than through silhouettes and lines that connect her with Andalusian art.

Flowers are a hallmark of both Alicante and Andalusian villages.

Adorning the streets and showcasing the Mediterranean style with the combination of white houses and the contrast with the vivid color of bougainvillea.

Although, if we talk about flowers or the Spanish
flower, the winner is certainly the carnation. This essential element in the process of creation will be able to be seen on the ruffles, since the petals also have a silhouette similar to that of flamenco dresses.

And finally, Madrid—the city that never sleeps—is also key. It’s where Cris Gonzá lez trained as a designer.

The rock-inspired aesthetic with a touch of sophistication perfectly defines the current street style of the capital, reflected in structured silhouettes, simple and elegant with the touch of ‘rebelliousness’ that bring the combination of studs in gold tones and silver aged.
